1. Who We Are

This policy is issued by Northern Personnel (also trading in association with M & I Labour Consultants), a labour consultancy and HR services business based in Tzaneen, Limpopo, South Africa. We are the "responsible party" under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) for the personal information described on this page.

This policy covers www.northernpersonnel.co.za and the forms on it. It does not cover information you give us directly outside the website (for example, in person, by phone, or under a separate client services agreement), which is governed by those arrangements.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect what each form on this site needs to do what you've asked it to do:

Fields marked as required on a form must be completed for that form to work; everything else is optional. If you don't provide the required information, we won't be able to action that particular request.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through the Contact Us and Quotes forms;
  • To assess CVs and applications and consider you for suitable roles;
  • To share your CV with a prospective employer/client where you've applied for or been matched to one of their vacancies;
  • To send subscription updates you've opted in to receive;
  • To keep our own records of enquiries, quotes and applications;
  • To understand overall website traffic, in aggregate, using Google Analytics — only once you've accepted our cookie banner; and
  • To meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

4. Who We Share It With

We don't sell your personal information. We do share it with:

  • Our own staff who need it to respond to your enquiry, quote request or application;
  • Prospective employer clients, but only your CV/application details, and only where you've applied for or been identified as a match for one of their roles;
  • Service providers who process data on our behalf: Microsoft (Exchange Online/Microsoft 365), which sends our outbound emails; Google, for Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA (spam/bot protection on our forms). These providers may process data on infrastructure located outside South Africa, under their own security and privacy commitments; and
  • Anyone we're required to disclose information to by law.
